The first time I played bingo online it was on NewBingoBilly.
The experience turned out to be horrible as I got scammed badly. I joined the
site thinking it offered excellent service to customers but instead I was
plagued with all kinds of players within the first day of registration.
For starters, NewBingoBilly will make outlandish claims on
their website. They supposedly won awards for being the best bingo sites a
staggering 6 times over the last decade. I think that is a bogus claim and I seriously doubt if the site
even generated one positive review from the testing bodies. In hindsight, I
think that little ploy of NewBingoBilly worked in their favour because I fell
for it and I am sure it must have been the case with a lot of other new players
as well.
So I paid the deposit and started using the site. I was not
impressed. They had multiple game rooms but the rooms were also sparsely
crowded which to a person like me is a big turn off. While I do recognise
online bingo can be very different from traditional bingo venues, you still do
hope to have a good time and for that you need a decent number of players
playing the game to keep it challenging and interesting. This didn’t look like
the case with NewBingoBilly and I was already regretting my decision to join
the site.
I should have immediately suspected the possibility of a NewBingoBilly scam. Surely, if the site claims to be highly reputed with lots
of awards, the game rooms must be atleast half full. Then I started to second
guess myself about all this stuff. I thought maybe Bingo is a game that stopped
being popular with my generation and the online version is yet to take off in a
big way.
Then as I started playing, other issues started cropping up.
With so few players, I could hardly win any of the games, even the weekend ones
with serious prize money were out of reach for me. To make matters worse, I
could see the same people win over and over again which made me really suspect
the possibility of NewBingoBilly online fraud.
Anyways, when I got in touch with customer care, they made
my suspicious sound like it was the most ridiculous thing in the world. Like
there was no chance in hell the NewBingoBilly company would be using house
players to avoid making payments to others. So I kept on playing and was still
making decent money thought I was mainly going after what was left once the
winners had taken their share. By the end of the month, my earnings from the
site were close to $2000 which I thought was decent, all things
considered.
However, at this point my relationship with NewBingobilly
went completely downhill. I could not get
the company to release the money that was owed to me. They kept coming
up with kinds of excuses just to stall payments which caused me a lot of
aggravation. With routine scams, the people just take your money and run when
they get the chance. However with this company, they will simply give you the
run around making all kinds of promises and then you would finally have no
choice but to stop trusting. When that phase comes, you will feel like the
biggest fool in the world and that was what happened to me. I completely
stopped using the site from that point on. Although I do feel ashamed that I
became another one of those online fraud victims.
