At first when I joined NewBingoBilly, I was an excited
player. I had not played Bingo in a long time and when I heard that you could
play it online, I jumped at the opportunity. This site came recommended from a
friend of mine who knew that I used to play the game a lot when I was younger.
So when I checked out the site, there were many things to
like. Going by the information that was published there, I was impressed to see
that it had won awards for being the best bingo site on the internet. And they
had won it six times in the last ten years which should at least make it one of
the top bingo sites on the web. The site was also peppered with positive
testimonials from former players but I didn’t believe that. Nowadays almost all
sites create fake testimonials and cant take them seriously anymore. However I
had no idea that even the claims of winning all those rewards were fake.
So I started using the site a lot and played bingo whenever
I could find time. At the start, I didn't have many NewBingoBilly complaints to
be honest. Every thing was self explanatory and my transition to the web based
version was smooth. The customer care were also helpful in solving any doubts I
had. And the best part was I was making money. Within 4 weeks of joining, my
prize money was $2000 which I thought was not terrible.
However the company would not release my payment. It seems
they had to verify my identity and that it was a mandatory requirement
authorized by the government. Why could
not these people do it the moment I joined the site? Why sit idly for a month
and then start the process when they had to release my payment. However this
was one of the smaller NewBingoBilly complaints I had at the time.
My biggest issue was when I came to know how long the
process would take. I had to wait for 3 months for my ID to be verified which
was nothing short of insane. They guys were taking me for a ride and I
immediately got in touch with customer care and lodged a series of
NewBingoBilly complaints. While these people were still looking at my
NewBingoBilly complaints, one of the marketing guys from the company called me
to ask why I wasn’t playing anymore.
I lost my composure and told him why and he sounded all
sympathetic and then disconnected the call. I had a feeling that this guy would
do something to get my NewBingoBilly complaints resolved. However the next day,
something else happened that shocked and angered me. I found that my prize
money had been severely depleted after the company slapped penalties. Now I was
apparently owed only $1000 which was about half of what I was owed. So I again
called customer care to file fresh NewBingoBilly complaints. I was told that it
was done because I had not used the site for more than 2 weeks, the time period
during which I was waiting for my payments. They had apparently brought in some
new playing rules during the time which gave them the power to penalize people
who stopped using the site services.
I
was dumbstruck after listening to all that nonsense and I knew these people
were nothing but scammers. They were never looking to resolve any of my
NewbIngoBilly complaints. They just wanted my deposit money. There was no prize
money either. All that was for show to get people to make repeated deposits.
This week it was $1000 penalties and I’m sure at the end of the next week, the
site would owe me $0. And after that I guess I would owe the site $1000. I had
had enough and never logged in again. It was time to move on even if it meant
to write of the losses as bad debts.
