I got a call from one of the marketing guys working in a site called New Bingo Billy. The agent was explaining to me the basics and I was quite impressed the lengths she went to get me convinced to join the site. When I checked out the site myself, it did look quite appealing. Unlike casino cards sites, there are not too many sites dedicated solely for playing bingo. I also like the fact that New Bingo Billy regularly conducts several contests on a monthly basis with real cash for prize money. Some of the tournaments offered more than $10,000 in prize money.
The other positive was the rates were quite nominal. In
fact, when compared to other sites, New Bingo Billy charged considerably less
and that didn’t escape my notice. This further convinced me to register with
the site. Sadly, all this was just a ruse and I became a victim of New Bingo
Billy signup fraud. The site is a scam and is operated by conmen.
Over the course of a month, I had so many problems with the
site. My first issue was that of the deposit requirements. I ran through mine
in the first 2 days which was preposterous since I hardly played for 2 hours.
Then I was told that I would be required to pay again and the agent also
recommended that I pay more to get full access to all the game rooms. I
relented. I thought now that I have joined let me at least make the best use of
it. That was a big mistake. At this point, the low deposit rates made a lot of
sense. They just wanted to attract new customers and once they joined, they
would get them to pay more. I am not of fan of these negative marketing tactics
and I had already made up my mind that I would use the site for only a
month. Its bad enough being involved in a New Bingo Billy sign up fraud.
But my problems didn’t end there. At the end of the month,
the company even denied payment of my winnings. I won close $500 in prize and
they simply refused to pay. They said I violated some playing conditions during
the fourth week of my membership. The remarkable thing here is I never used the
site in the final week. I had run through my deposit amount and was not
interested in paying any more. Apparently, a new clause was introduced into the
playing regulations in the final week and as a consequence I was found
non-compliant. The moment I heard this, I got reminded of the New Bingo Billy
signup fraud. This is just an extension of that. The company was never serious
of providing quality service to the customer. Their only motive here is to
squeeze every bit of money from the client. In my case, it certainly worked.
But no more.
During the last week,
the agent also called me to tell that reinvesting the prize money to play more
games was an option, I flat out refused.
I guess they knew from that instant, that I was not going to be making
any more deposits and they felt it was convenient to cut me out. New Bingo
Billy is run by a group of cheats and I would urge users to think clear
and hard before joining this site.
